You’ve probably come across our unique creations through one of the many art, craft, and home and garden shows we attend each year throughout the United States and Canada.

Well, believe it or not, Ginger Blue Decor was started nearly three decades ago. After getting my Bachelors at Chicago Art Institute, I met a strong-willed, self-taught artist named Pam and we’ve been going strong ever since.

At that time, Pam was raising three young children and selling her goods through various craft shows. Even then, we knew it was incredibly important to spend as much time with the kids as possible and instill a creative mindset within each. We have continued the show tradition for over 27 years and couldn’t be happier.

While we thoroughly enjoy meeting fellow vendors and customers during our travels throughout the United States and Canada, we’re happiest when at home creating.

At shows, we find inspiration from unique vintage finds, craft projects, and interesting materials. People tell us what they love, and we give them something special.

At home, we’re able to bounce ideas off each other until we come up with something fantastically one-of-a-kind. Once we’ve come up with a design we love, we spend hours, days, and sometimes even weeks or months perfecting it under the supervision of our four (yep, four!) English bulldogs.

We take pride in each and every item we create. You can be assured you’re getting the highest quality product possible for your home or garden when shopping with Ginger Blue Decor.

Take a walk around our home and you’ll see generations worth of unique art projects created by myself, Pam, our children, and even a few from grandchildren.

Although the items we create have evolved over the years, one thing remains the same. We love to inspire our little ones to help with projects whenever possible. I have fond memories of years ago when I spent my childhood alongside my grandfather making handcrafted furniture.

Our little ones have always helped with everything from stuffing toy dolls to opening mini Christmas trees. Today, photos of our grandkids help fill one of Pam’s greatest creations, Artmagnets. We create magnets from their photos, display them throughout our house, and change them frequently. We would love for you to experience the same joy that we get from these Custom Artmagnets.

The most important thing in our lives has always been what we call ‘Home’. But, home isn’t just the place we live. Home means so much more. It’s a feeling of joy and being surrounded by the things and people we love. The sound of laughter. The smell of good food. Snuggling with a pup, sometimes 3 at a time, and creating unique, interesting art with our family.

If we can create something that makes your home feel a little more ‘like home’ to you, we’ve done our job.

From our home to yours.

Steve and Pam Montes
